A New Educational Journey for High-Achieving Students Begins!
Istanbul, Turkey – [Date] – The Young Development Academy, launched in collaboration with the Governorship of Istanbul, Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, and the Turkey Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), officially opened its doors with a ceremony at Istanbul Çapa Science High School. The program is designed to support the holistic development of high-achieving high school students.
The Academy brings together students who achieved full marks or ranked among the top performers in the High School Entrance Exam (LGS). The initiative aims to nurture not only academic success but also personal, social, and cognitive growth.
Enthusiasm at the Opening Ceremony
The opening ceremony was attended by Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, Istanbul Provincial Director of National Education Murat Mücahit Yentür, and T3 Foundation Chairman Dr. Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır, alongside students and their families.
Speakers highlighted the importance of educational models that guide young people to reach their full potential. They emphasized that Turkey’s future generations should grow within the framework of science, technology, and values.
Dr. Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır underlined the role of T3 Foundation in fostering young talent, noting that when students unite around a purpose, they learn to embrace it and succeed together. He added that ideas born in the Academy could one day grow into major ventures, similar to the success story of BAYKAR, where a few young engineers started in a small workshop and achieved global recognition in the defense industry.
Following the speeches, the program content was introduced in detail, and participants joined networking activities to connect with one another.
An Educational Model Beyond Academic Success
The program will run from October 2025 to January 2026 for 11 weeks, featuring a blended structure of face-to-face, online, and asynchronous sessions. Students will receive training in 21st-century skills, historical awareness, personal development, communication, and critical thinking. Additionally, sessions on future careers, entrepreneurship, technology literacy, and career planning will encourage students to explore and maximize their potential.
Investing in the Future of Young People
Aligned with the National Technology Initiative, the Academy aims to equip students not only with knowledge but also with values. By the end of the program, participants are expected to develop significant skills in leadership, communication, critical thinking, and teamwork.
