Inspiring Gathering at the Young Development Academy
The Young Development Academy, implemented in collaboration with the Istanbul Governorship, Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education, and T3 Foundation, continues to support the personal, academic, and social development of young people. Throughout the 11-week program, students meet with experts in a wide range of topics including awareness, communication, leadership, time management, future professions, entrepreneurship, and career planning.
This week, a special in-person seminar program was held on Saturday, December 6, at Istanbul Erkek High School. Following their asynchronous weekly training on the theme of “Future Professions,” participants had the opportunity to engage face-to-face with prominent leaders from the technology and business world.
The program opened with remarks from Dr. Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the T3 Foundation, who addressed the students on the importance of future skills, the value of gaining competencies within the technology ecosystem, and the opportunities offered through the Young Development Academy.
Following the opening session, Kadir Sığınmış, Director of Human Resources and Information Technologies at Hexagon and author, delivered an inspiring training titled “Leadership,” providing students with new perspectives on discovering their leadership potential, managing teams, and taking initiative in decision-making processes.
In the final session, Turkcell CEO Dr. Ali Taha Koç delivered his seminar, “How Will We Prepare for the Professions of the Future?” Dr. Koç shared valuable insights on the rapidly evolving technology landscape, digital competencies, artificial intelligence, and emerging career fields captivating the interest of all participants.
The Young Development Academy will continue offering enriching training programs and seminars in the coming weeks, empowering young individuals who will shape Türkiye’s future.
