"Bilim Ümraniye", Set to Raise the Inventors of the Future, Has Opened!

Curious and open-minded children of Türkiye, who dream without limits in the fields of science and technology, continue to meet with science.
With the goal of creating a “Türkiye that develops technology,” the “Bilim Türkiye Family,” which aims to spread science and technology across the country, has recently welcomed a new member: Bilim Ümraniye. Offering a learning environment that nurtures children's imagination and curiosity, the opening ceremony of Bilim Ümraniye took place on Saturday, May 24.
In line with the vision of the National Technology Initiative, Bilim Ümraniye was launched in Ümraniye to make science, technology, and art accessible to a broader segment of society and to increase children's interest in these fields. The opening was held in cooperation with the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Industry and Technology, T3 Foundation, TÜBİTAK, and Ümraniye Municipality. The ceremony was attended by Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology; Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın, President of TÜBİTAK; İsmet Yıldırım, Mayor of Ümraniye; and Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır, Chair of the T3 Foundation Board.
Following the opening speeches, Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır and his delegation cut the ribbon and visited the technology, astronomy and aviation, natural sciences, mathematics, and design workshops at the science center. They observed the students' projects and chatted with them individually.
The new address of science for curious children: Bilim Ümraniye!
Bilim Ümraniye has begun welcoming students with a variety of fun and engaging educational programs, aiming to cultivate a generation that is self-directed, team-oriented, and equipped with creative and critical thinking skills. With workshops in technology, astronomy and aviation, natural sciences, mathematics, and design, Bilim Ümraniye will connect children aged 6 to 14 in Istanbul with science and technology.
