Bilim Arnavutköy Opens Its Doors: Future Scientists Will Grow Here!

Bilim Arnavutköy, which will bring children between the ages of 6-14 in Istanbul together with science and technology opened with an enthusiastic ceremony.
Touching the lives of millions of people with the goal of a Turkey that develops technology, the Turkish Technology Team Foundation continues to contribute to the technology development process of talented young people and people of all ages. Like all other science centers within the T3 Foundation, new science centers are being opened to bring children and young people together with a wide variety of content in the field of science and technology at an early age, to enable them to discover their interests and talents, and to guide them to these fields in the future. In this context, Bilim Arnavutköy has opened its doors for young people who are curious to discover and learn!
Within the scope of the National Technology Move, Bilim Arnavutköy was realized in Arnavutköy with the partnership of the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology, TUBITAK, T3 Foundation and Arnavutköy Municipality in order to bring science, technology and art to large masses, to increase children's communication with science and to increase interest in these fields. The opening ceremony of Bilim Arnavutköy was held with the participation of Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Istanbul Governor Davut Gül, AK Party Istanbul Deputy Cüneyt Yüksel, T3 Foundation Chairman Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır, TÜBİTAK President Orhan Aydın and Arnavutköy Mayor Mustafa Candaroğlu.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Minister Kacır emphasized that as a result of the centuries of achievements they have packed into 22 years under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, they have built a “technology-producing, strong Turkey” in the 21st century, where global competition is shaped by science, technology and value-added production. Minister Kacır; “To date, we have put 35 science centers into the service of our citizens and young people who are devoted to science in order to keep the fire of science and technology alive. We have hosted more than 15 million citizens of all age groups in our science centers, which are open to visitors. We are excited and happy to be opening our 36th science center in Arnavutköy today. We put our science center, which includes 5 basic workshops in natural sciences, mathematics, astronomy, space and aviation, design and technology, as well as DENEYAP Technology Workshop, robotic coding and planetarium, into service for a working and producing youth. We believe and trust our youth. The dreams and goals of our youth mean our strong future. We will continue to provide our youth with an atmosphere where they will use technology correctly and constantly improve themselves.”
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır, Chairman of the Board of Directors of T3 Foundation, said: “The aim we aim with the Science Turkey project is for our future generations to have a spirit of ‘not only consuming but also producing and constantly learning with the desire to discover’. The Ozdemir Bayraktars and Aziz Sancars of the future will be raised in science centers all over our country, and our young people raised here will develop technologies first for our country and then for the benefit of all humanity.”
After the ceremony, the guests, accompanied by Minister Kacır and T3 Foundation Chairman Hıdır, toured Bilim Arnavutköy, which will bring together children between the ages of 6-14 with science and technology through its Technology, Astronomy and Aviation, Natural Sciences, Mathematics, Design and DENEYAP Technology Workshops.
