We Are Meeting at the TEKNOFEST Mavi Vatan Bosphorus Parade!

Held under the auspices of the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye and hosted by the Ministry of National Defense, this special event will spread the excitement of national technology wave by wave.

On August 24, the Istanbul Strait will wave with national pride!
 

With the call “Bring your Turkish flag and join us,” thousands of citizens will gather along the Bosphorus shores to take part in the enthusiasm of the TEKNOFEST Mavi Vatan Bosphorus Parade. Waving their flags to salute our navy, citizens will witness unforgettable moments as the sky and sea are painted in red and white.

Among the distinguished platforms of the Turkish Navy joining the parade will be TCG Anadolu, TCG Savarona, and the submarine TCG HIZIRREİS. The parade will take place between 15:30 and 18:30, starting from the Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge and continuing along the route of Sarıyer, Tarabya, Emirgan, Kanlıca, Rumeli Fortress, Kandilli, Bebek, Ortaköy, and the July 15 Martyrs Bridge. After greeting President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at Dolmabahçe, the parade will proceed towards Moda, Caddebostan, and Maltepe coasts, where the Istanbul Strait will showcase breathtaking scenes.
 

During this historic voyage, TCG Anadolu and TCG Savarona will host TEKNOFEST competitors, children of martyrs, and children from care homes, offering them an unforgettable day.

The National Technology Initiative Meets the Blue Homeland: August 30–31
 

Following this visual feast on the Bosphorus, the excitement will continue on August 30–31, 2025, at the Istanbul Naval Shipyard Command. In this event, reflecting the National Technology Initiative on the seas, fierce competitions will take place for the future of maritime technologies. TEKNOFEST competitors will showcase their skills in the Unmanned Underwater Systems, Submarine Rocket, and Unmanned Surface Vehicle Competitions.
 

At the event area, many activities will await technology enthusiasts, including Navy ship model exhibitions, virtual reality experience zones, SAT and SAS Command demonstrations, Dragon Boat Races, and a Ship Design Workshop.

A Special Privilege for Young Talents!
 

Winners of the Painting and Essay Competitions will have the opportunity to visit special platforms such as TCG Anadolu, TCG Savarona, TCG Sakarya, and TCG HIZIRREİS, witnessing Türkiye’s naval history up close.

-Starting from 16:50, the parade can also be viewed from Beşiktaş, Üsküdar, Dolmabahçe, and Sarayburnu shores.

-At 17:00, the greeting of our President will take place at Dolmabahçe Palace.
