An exciting new era is beginning in Türkiye’s technology landscape. Q&CO Quantum Computing Teknoloji A.Ş. and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) have signed a comprehensive cooperation protocol to raise awareness in the field of quantum technologies and guide younger generations toward this strategic domain. Launched with the vision “Take Your Place in the Future of Quantum Supremacy,” the program aims to introduce high school students to the world of quantum science at an early stage and integrate them into Türkiye’s future technology ecosystem.

Within the scope of the program, which aims to spark a nationwide “quantum wave,” multidimensional education and awareness activities will be carried out in 14 pilot provinces across Türkiye: Ankara, Antalya, Çanakkale, Erzurum, Gaziantep, Istanbul, İzmir, Konya, Kahramanmaraş, Samsun, Şanlıurfa, Sivas, Malatya, and Trabzon. The primary focus will be on high-achieving students from Science High Schools, Anatolian High Schools, Science and Art Centers (BİLSEM), and project schools, as well as teachers of science, mathematics, and technology working in these institutions.

The first phase of the educational process will begin on April 10 in Konya with a seminar titled “Building the Future with Quantum.” Through these seminars, students will gain insights into a wide range of topics—from the fundamental principles of quantum science and global advancements to the applications of quantum technologies and Türkiye’s growing ecosystem in this field.

Following the theoretical training, the “Quantum Technologies High School Hackathon” will provide a platform for students to showcase their skills. Working in teams on quantum-themed problem scenarios, participants will develop innovative projects and demonstrate their analytical thinking and technological creativity.

First Step Toward a Career: Internship and Career Opportunities

The program extends beyond education. Students who demonstrate outstanding performance in the Hackathon will be encouraged and guided toward quantum technology-focused internship programs within Q&CO Quantum Computing. This initiative aims to enable young talents to engage in scientific work while still in high school, gain hands-on research experience, and build a strong foundation for a future career in quantum technologies.

This joint initiative by Q&CO and the T3 Foundation is set to enhance scientific awareness in quantum technologies across Türkiye while paving the way for the next generation of technology leaders.
