The Second Stop of the National Technology Summit Took Place at Istanbul 29 Mayıs University
The “National Technology Summit,” organized in collaboration with T3 Foundation, TEKNOFEST Club, and Istanbul 29 Mayıs University under the coordination of the Student Affairs Department (SKS), brought together academia, industry professionals, and students on a common platform.
Held under the theme “Beyond Engineering,” the program focused on the “Societal Reflections of the National Technology Initiative.” During the summit, it was emphasized that technology is not limited to production and engineering processes but also plays a crucial role in shaping social transformation, cultural structures, and future visions.
The panel was moderated by Murat Doğruel, with İhsan Fazlıoğlu and Tahsin Görgün participating as speakers. The distinguished academics shared valuable insights by addressing the societal dimensions of national technology from different perspectives.
Throughout the event, students had the opportunity to engage directly with experts in their fields, gaining diverse perspectives. The summit, which attracted strong participation, once again highlighted the importance of approaching technology not only from a technical standpoint but also through its social and human dimensions.
