The Educational Face of the National Technology Initiative Applications Have Opened for Baykar Science High School’s School-Specific Exam!
Baykar Science High School, implemented through the collaboration of the Ministry of National Education, Baykar, and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), is preparing to welcome its first students for the 2026-2027 academic year. Applications have opened for the School-Specific Exam, which can be applied for by 8th-grade students who rank in the top 1% percentile in the LGS. Accepting exam applications between July 10 and 14, Baykar Science High School aims to raise the scientists, engineers, and technology leaders of the future. The school’s specific exam will be held on July 19.

An education beyond the classroom, applied programs, and an interdisciplinary approach
Going beyond the traditional science high school curriculum, Baykar Science High School allows its students to specialize in two strategic fields: Information Technologies and Software, and Aviation and Space Technologies. Students pursue their education not just in a classroom environment, but accompanied by modern laboratories, production workshops, and applied programs conducted under the guidance of Baykar engineers. While the first year of the total 5-year education period is planned as an English preparatory program, Chinese language education as a second foreign language, project development competencies, and an interdisciplinary approach form the foundational building blocks of the school. Time to apply for steps that will shape the future!
Students wishing to apply to Baykar Science High School must rank within the top 1% percentile nationwide in the LGS. Candidates who pass this stage will qualify to participate in the School-Specific Exam to be organized by the school. The exam will consist of a total of 30 questions, and candidates will be granted 100 minutes to answer the questions. Exam applications can be submitted between July 10 and 14 through the Ministry of National Education’s address at https://e-okul.meb.gov.tr. The exam, which candidate students will attend, will be held on July 19 at 25 designated exam centers across 24 provinces throughout Türkiye.
The provinces where the exam centers are located are as follows: Adana, Ankara, Antalya, Balıkesir, Bursa, Denizli, Diyarbakır, Erzurum, Eskişehir, Gaziantep, Hatay, İstanbul (two separate centers being the Anatolian and European sides), İzmir, Kayseri, Kocaeli, Konya, Malatya, Mersin, Muğla, Sakarya, Samsun, Tekirdağ, Trabzon, and Van.
