T3 Foundation is Among the Stakeholders of the EIT Higher Education Initiative-Backed AI-InnoFOOD Project!
The T3 Foundation is participating as a stakeholder in the AI-InnoFOOD project, which is supported under the European Institute of Innovation and Technology's (EIT) Higher Education Initiative program. To be carried out under the coordination of Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University (ÇOMÜ), the project aims to strengthen innovation capacity in the field of green biotechnology through artificial intelligence-backed STEM education.
Within the scope of the two-year project, it is aimed to increase the entrepreneurship and innovation capacities of higher education institutions, to popularize artificial intelligence-backed education models, and to transform research outputs into societal benefits by bringing them together with the industry. Contributions will be made to transforming scientific knowledge into added value with solutions to be developed in strategic areas such as sustainable food systems, alternative protein technologies, and circular bioeconomy.
The project is coordinated by Prof. Dr. Sercan Karav from ÇOMÜ, who also serves as the International Projects and Academic Advisor for the T3 Foundation Research Unit. The project partners include the T3 Foundation, ÇOMÜ, Bilişim Vadisi, ULUOVA Süt Ticaret A.Ş., Republic of Turkiye Ministry of Foreign Affairs Directorate for European Union Affairs, University of Messina (Italy), Lithuanian University of Health Sciences (Lithuania), Centro Tecnolóxico da Carne (Spain), University of Zagreb Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Technology (Croatia), and Coopérative d'Initiatives Jeunes Entrepreneur.e.s (France).
The T3 Foundation aims to contribute to increasing the technology development competencies of young people and strengthening the science, technology, and innovation ecosystem of our country by transferring its experience in the entrepreneurship and technology ecosystem to this international consortium within the scope of the project.
