T3 Foundation at Yıldız Palace: A Gathering Extending from Roots to the Future

As the Turkish Technology Team Foundation, we held a meaningful program that brings history and technology together on the same ground at the Manege Hall of the Şale Pavilion in Yıldız Palace.

While coming together with our new scholars for the Opening Event of the "Özdemir Bayraktar National Technology Scholarship Program", we also discussed the vision of the past through today's technological perspective as part of the #T3Söyleşileri held on the same day.

In the first part of the program, we experienced the excitement of meeting our new scholars who will be raised with the vision of the National Technology Move. We are proud to stand by our youth, who will build the future of Türkiye, on this journey they have embarked on to become strong actors in the fields of production, research, and high technology. While saying "welcome" to all the scholars who have joined our family, we also marked the beginning of a long-term story that we will walk together.

During the Yıldız Palace tour organized as part of the event, we had the opportunity to examine firsthand the places where the decisions shaping the late Ottoman period were made. This special atmosphere, which has witnessed the turning points of history, reminded us once again how the inspiration we draw from the past integrates with the work we carry out today.

In the continuation of the program at #T3Söyleşileri, Sultan Abdulhamid II's interest in technology was discussed on the 108th anniversary of his passing. Prof. Dr. Vahdettin Engin, who participated as a guest in the talk, evaluated Sultan Abdulhamid II's comprehensive vision, ranging from communication systems to railways, and from educational investments to technological developments. The program was moderated by Emel Engin and concluded with a meaningful closing that complemented the historical atmosphere with an Ottoman-era Turkish music recital.

With the understanding of "From Roots to the Skies", we continue to bring the accumulation of the past together with the technology move of the future. As Türkiye's Technology Team, we will continue to gather around strong ideas in historical venues, and walk with determination on the path of the National Technology Move together with our youth, our scholars, and our stakeholders.
