Results of the “Young Researcher Support Program” Announced!

The Young Researcher Support Program, launched by the Türkiye Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) to empower young people contributing to the National Technology Initiative and to strengthen their presence in the international science and technology ecosystem, has successfully completed its application and evaluation process.

Following comprehensive assessments, the young researchers eligible for support have been announced.

One of the world’s most prestigious gatherings in the field of space and astronautics, the IAC – International Astronautical Congress, will be held in Antalya on 5–9 October 2026. Bringing together a wide range of disciplines—from engineering and artificial intelligence to space law, biology, and sociology—this global platform will host young researchers supported by the T3 Foundation. High school, undergraduate, graduate students, and young graduates will represent Türkiye with their high-quality academic studies at IAC 2026.

A comprehensive support journey for academic production and international representation
The Young Researcher Support Program addresses a broad audience, including T3 Foundation scholars and volunteers, TEKNOFEST competitors, and all young individuals passionate about technology development. Participants who successfully completed the evaluation process will benefit from a structured and comprehensive support framework, covering academic writing, research methodologies, project development, and international paper preparation.

Five disciplines, one goal: Strengthening scientific production
The program is structured under five main categories: “Science and Exploration,” “Technology,” “Applications and Operations,” “Infrastructure,” and “Space and Society.” Supported participants will receive:

  • Academic training on scientific writing and digital content creation,
  • Discipline-based online meetings with academics,
  • İnspiration and experience-sharing sessions with young researchers who have previously attended IAC,
  • Mentorship support through field- and location-based mentor matching.

The evaluation process for candidates who have applied solely for IAC Congress Support (registration fees, accommodation, and travel expenses) will be conducted by the T3 Foundation following the announcement of the congress results.

Through the Young Researcher Support Program, the T3 Foundation continues to build a strong and sustainable scientific ecosystem by supporting young people not only in technology development, but also in academic production, scientific research, and international representation.
