Knowledge Production Workshop Held in Kosovo Within the Scope of the Küre Encyclopedia Program
Within the scope of the Küre Encyclopedia Project carried out in collaboration between the Turkish Technology Team (T3) Foundation and Baykar, a comprehensive program was organized in Kosovo on April 16–17, 2026.
Hosted and coordinated by the Kosovo Representation of the Yunus Emre Institute (YEE), the program was held in Pristina and Prizren. It focused on strengthening existing collaborations with academic, cultural, and civil society stakeholders, conducting on-site examinations in the field of Turkish language and literature, and delivering technical workshop trainings.
During the program, participants took part in the “Küre Article Writing Workshop,” where they actively contributed to knowledge production and dissemination processes. In the workshop, concepts were analyzed in a structured and accurate manner, and participants gained hands-on experience in encyclopedic content creation while contributing to a shared knowledge base.
The program also included courtesy visits to institutions and bilateral cooperation meetings. These engagements were considered an important step in T3 Foundation’s strategy for promoting the Turkish language in the Balkans and expanding the Küre Encyclopedia internationally.
A notable technical observation during the program was the need for reliable verification mechanisms in user registration processes for international participants. It was highlighted that developing a secure account creation and identity verification infrastructure is a priority, especially to accommodate the growing user base in the Balkan region.
At the end of the program, certificates were awarded to the participants, and all contributors to the workshop were congratulated for their efforts in knowledge production and collaboration.
