Hands-On Drone Training for Youth from T3 FPV Academy; Applications Have Started for the T3 FPV Drone Training Program!

08.07.2026

The Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) is opening the doors to a new journey that will bring youth's dreams together with the skies. Launched to raise the competent names of the future in the field of FPV drone technologies, "T3 FPV Akademi" has opened applications for the "FPV Drone Training Program." In the program, which will be held free of charge between July and September, young people will embark on a comprehensive educational journey extending from theoretical training to simulation, assembly, integration, and real flight experience. Applications will close on July 15 for young individuals who want to be part of a generation that does not just use technology, but understands, develops, and leaves a mark on the sky.

The Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) continues its efforts to develop the competencies of youth in aviation and advanced technology fields with the T3 FPV Akademi. Established to train qualified human resources in the field of FPV drone technologies, enhance the technical and practical skills of youth, and popularize the FPV drone culture across Türkiye, the Akademi invites young people to apply for the first term of the FPV Drone Training Program to be held in Istanbul.

A Comprehensive Training Where Knowledge Takes Flight with Courage

Bringing together young people interested in FPV drone technologies through an applied education model, the program consists of theoretical training, simulation studies, assembly and integration practices, and physical flight training. Participants will learn the core operating principles of FPV drone systems, get to know drone components closely, grasp the assembly logic, develop their piloting skills in a simulated environment, and gain real flight experience through physical flight practices.

Within the scope of the program, youth will receive training on topics such as: introduction to FPV drone systems, basic drone components, flight control systems, video transmission systems, battery and power systems, assembly and integration processes, piloting development via simulation, and physical flight applications. Thus, it is aimed that participants not only learn how to operate an FPV drone but also understand the technical infrastructure of the system and get introduced to a hands-on manufacturing culture.

Youth Will Not Just Consumed Technology, They Will Produce It!

With an educational model that combines technical knowledge, practical skills, and a disciplined flight approach, young people are supported to approach technology not merely as users, but as individuals who produce, develop, and implement it. Offering direct contact with different technological fields such as aviation, electronics, software, robotics, and autonomous systems, the FPV Drone Training Program aims to support the development of competent human resources that will contribute to Türkiye’s National Technology Initiative by bringing youth together with hands-on technology education. The FPV Drone Training Program, which will initially start in Istanbul, is aimed to be gradually expanded to different cities across Türkiye in the upcoming period.

Trainings to be Held in Istanbul During the July-September Period

The Istanbul Stage of the T3 FPV Drone Training Program will be held in the July-September 2026 period as face-to-face training on weekends. Participation is free of charge, and participants who successfully complete the program will be awarded an FPV Drone Pilot Certificate. The deadline for applications has been set as July 15 for young people who want to be introduced to FPV drone technologies and develop their technical knowledge and piloting skills.
