From the Skies to the Depths of the Seas: TEKNOFEST Returns to the Blue Homeland!

The maritime reflection of the National Technology Initiative comes to life once again under the theme of “Blue Homeland.” As part of TEKNOFEST 2026, TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland will take place between August 27–30 at the Gölcük Naval Shipyard Command, bringing together technology enthusiasts in a unique event focused on maritime and underwater technologies.

Recognized as the world’s largest aviation, space, and technology festival, TEKNOFEST continues to expand the vision of the National Technology Initiative from land to the seas. This year, under the “Blue Homeland” theme, the festival once again unites technology and defense industry enthusiasts around maritime innovation. First held in Istanbul last year, TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland generated great excitement with its rich content ranging from domestically developed naval platforms to advanced underwater technologies, competitions, and strong public engagement—leaving a lasting impression as a powerful symbol of Türkiye’s rising national technology movement at sea.

This year’s event, organized under the leadership of the Ministry of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye, the Ministry of National Defense of the Republic of Türkiye, and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation, and hosted by the Gölcük Naval Shipyard Command, aims to bring Türkiye’s maritime strength and advanced technological capabilities together with younger generations. TEKNOFEST Blue Homeland 2026 seeks to inspire a strong future vision built on domestic and national technologies while highlighting the country’s growing power in maritime innovation.
