A New Step in Preparing for the Future: “Youth Development Academy” Has Launched

The opening of the “Youth Development Academy” Program, implemented through the collaboration of the Governorship of Ankara, the Ankara Provincial Directorate of National Education, and the Turkish Technology Team Foundation, was held with Ankara Science High School as the host institution. While the program opens the doors to a new developmental journey for students in Ankara who have achieved high success in the High School Entrance Examination, it also offers a holistic model that supports the personal, social, and career development of young people in a multidimensional manner. This model is designed with the understanding that academic success is not limited solely to examination results.
A Multidimensional Educational Model Shaping the Future
With its opening event hosted by Ankara Science High School, the Youth Development Academy presents a comprehensive model that supports students’ personal, social, and career development in a multidimensional way, based on the understanding that academic success extends beyond examination performance. The program aims to enable students to better understand themselves, discover their potential, and take more conscious steps toward their future. In this context, distinguished high school students from across Ankara who have achieved high success in the LGS and demonstrate strong motivation for self-development are admitted to the program.
The program will run for 11 weeks between March and June 2026 and will offer participants a rich and dynamic educational experience. Designed with a blended learning model, the academy consists of a total of 33 training sessions supported by face-to-face seminars, live online classes, and asynchronous content. Throughout this process, students will gain not only academic knowledge but also essential life skills.
From Competence to Awareness: A Comprehensive Program Unlocking Youth Potential Within the scope of the program, in addition to training sessions on design thinking, critical thinking, and collaboration skills, students’ internal awareness will be strengthened through personal development topics such as stress management and mindfulness. Furthermore, training in effective communication, diction, and body language will enhance students’ ability to express themselves accurately. The program also aims to raise awareness of future professions and guide young people in areas such as career planning, entrepreneurship, and innovation. Interactive activities such as visits to the Technology Factory, meetings with role models, and Idea Marathon events will provide participants with inspiring experiences.

The admission process to the Youth Development Academy is conducted meticulously based on criteria such as academic achievement, motivation, and program suitability. Following the evaluation process, the top 120 students are admitted to the program. Students who successfully complete the program will be awarded the “Youth Development Academy Completion Certificate.”
İlham Veren Açılış: Gençlerle Güçlü Bir Başlangıç
The opening ceremony, hosted by Ankara Science High School, was attended by Deputy Governor of Ankara Namık Kemal Nazlı, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the T3 Foundation Dr. Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır, and Ankara Provincial Director of National Education Murat Küçükali. During the opening program, the vision, scope, and multidimensional contributions of the Youth Development Academy were presented in detail, and participants were provided with a comprehensive introduction to the program’s content.
“We see the future of Türkiye not in foreign companies, but in you, the youth who produce and take responsibility”
In her speech at the opening of the Ankara Youth Development Academy program, Dr. Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the T3 Foundation, stated:
“Today, we take pride in launching the Ankara phase with 120 distinguished students who have joined us following a rigorous evaluation process. In today’s world, success is no longer measured solely by achieving high scores in examinations. The world now focuses not on what you know, but on what you can do. The 21st century competencies we will focus on in our academy, such as critical thinking, complex problem solving, creativity, and digital literacy, will, we hope, become your greatest assets in the future. We see the future of Turkey not in foreign companies or ready-made solutions, but in you, the youth who produce, develop, and take responsibility. Our vision is for this country to become a global leader in every field, from aviation to space engineering. The friendships you build here and the vision you acquire will form the strongest foundation of this dream.”

Following the opening speeches, Elvan Kuzucu Hıdır met with the students, engaged in conversations with them, and took commemorative photographs. In the continuation of the program, students came together through introductory activities in a sincere and interactive environment. The event marked an inspiring beginning for all participants.
