We are a group of young entrepreneurs and professionals who believe that it is inevitable for Türkiye to realize the National Technology Initiative in order to raise its voice for a better world and to be one of developed societies in terms of economy and life quality.
Şahabettin Akdemir was born in Kahramanmaraş. He completed his high school education at Eyüpsultan Anatolian High School. In 2008, he graduated from Atatürk University, Faculty of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
Due to his intense interest in design and information technologies, he gave great importance to extracurricular activities throughout his education life in order to further develop himself in these fields. He participated in social and professional activities organized by university clubs and was among the founders of the technology club.
After graduation, he worked in the machinery-manufacturing sector for 3 years. In 2012, he started working at Baykar Technology and worked in the design, manufacturing and field operations departments. Mr. Akdemir has expertise in production-manufacturing, engineering design, design optimization, ergonomics and additive manufacturing. As of 2017, he has been working as the Mechanical Manufacturing and Integration Unit Leader at Baykar Technology.
Mr. Akdemir represented Baykar Technology in the consortium formed by various companies in order to produce respiratory devices, which are among the priority needs of intensive care services in our country during the Covid-19 pandemic period, with domestic and national facilities. Akdemir has made significant contributions to the original design and production of proportional valves, one of the most important parts of the respiratory device.
He is married and has two children.
