Resul Ağlar
Member of the Board of Trustees
Resul Ağlar was born in Sivas in 1990. After completing his primary and high school education in Sivas, he enrolled in Kocaeli University Electronics and Communication Engineering Department with the dream of becoming an engineer. He completed his master's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering at Yıldız Technical University.
During his education life, he took part in many teams and clubs in the field of software and hardware, apart from school projects. In order to spread the curiosity about software and technology to young teams, he volunteered in the "Tiny Electronics Wanted" trainings and provided electronics and software trainings. He worked in Kocaeli University R&D and Innovation Club.
As of 2013, he started his Baykar Technology adventure and took part in the development of autopilot and all ground systems software in Bayraktar TB2, Mini UAV D, Bayraktar Akıncı, Bayraktar Kızılelma and Bayraktar TB3 projects. He has participated in many operations and field studies such as Olive Branch and Euphrates Shield Operations. He took part in the development of respirators produced during the pandemic period.
He started his career in the field of electronics at Baykar, then sequentially assumed positions of Team Leader, Group Leader, and Unit Leader in Embedded Software. He is currently the Unit Leader of Light Platforms, which produces smart ammunition technologies.
He is married to Ayşe İnan Ağlar, who is also an engineer.
