We are a group of young entrepreneurs and professionals who believe that it is inevitable for Türkiye to realize the National Technology Initiative in order to raise its voice for a better world and to be one of developed societies in terms of economy and life quality.
Mehmet Fatih Kacır was born in 1984 in Istanbul. He completed his secondary and high school education at Istanbul High School. He completed his undergraduate education at Boğaziçi University, Department of Industrial Engineering in 2008 with a Honors Degree. He served as student representative during his university education. He pioneered interdisciplinary research and project management training at the Project and Research Club, of which he was the founding chairman. After graduating from university, he chose to be an entrepreneur in different sectors. He operated in the simulation software and hardware, virtual reality applications, digital advertising and food sectors with companies he was the founder and manager of. He developed utility models and industrial designs in his companies and implemented innovative applications.
In addition to his commercial life, he also took an active role in non-governmental organizations. Kacır, who served as the Chairman of the Board of the Turkish Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation), of which he is one of the founders, was among the pioneers of the establishment of Deneyap Technology Workshops, the Future Technology Stars Program for gifted students, Science Centers and Startup Center programs. He undertook the duty of the chairman of the executive board of TEKNOFEST, Turkey's first Aerospace and Technology Festival. He was appointed as a member of TÜBİTAK Science Board in 2018.
Kacır, who continues to be a member of the Prof. Dr. Fuat Sezgin Islamic Science History Research Foundation and Aselsan Board of Directors, was appointed as the Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology on 31 July 2018. He is fluent in English and German. He is married and has 2 children.
