We are a group of young entrepreneurs and professionals who believe that it is inevitable for Türkiye to realize the National Technology Initiative in order to raise its voice for a better world and to be one of developed societies in terms of economy and life quality.
Halil Akar was born in Antalya in 1971. After completing his high school education at Kuleli Military High School, he graduated from Air Force Academy Industrial Engineering in 1994. He served as a student representative during his cadet education. He served as a Combat Search and Rescue (CSR) officer and staff officer in the Turkish Air Force.
He completed Air Force search and rescue and Special Forces Team Command courses at Fort Bragg, USA. He received staff officer training at the National Defense University Air War Academy and Bangladesh Command Staff College.
As a CSR officer, he played a leading and active role as an instructor and planning officer in the creation of a training system, training, concept and doctrine development activities within the scope of providing CSR capability to the Turkish Armed Forces. As a staff officer, he served as a planning officer, Athens Armed Forces Attaché, Muş Meydan Commander and Head of the Air Force Personnel Planning and Management Department. In 2018, he retired from the Air Force.
In 2019, he started working at Baykar Technology company as the responsible of Akıncı TUAV Flight Training and Test Center and took an active role in the training center installation works.
Halil AKAR, who is married with one son, is currently working as the Group Leader of Akıncı Flight Training Center at Baykar Technology.
